High Lane War Memorial Village Hall, affectionately known as "The Village Hall", is set in the village park, just off Windlehurst Road. (SK6 8AB)

 

For anyone who is unfamilar with the Hall, it is a clean modern, spacious building, available to hire for a huge variety of uses with the exception of Ball Games.

 

Boasting a large, airy hall with adjacent kitchen and a smaller hall, also with its own kitchen, this attractive facility accommodates up to 60 (small hall) and 180

(large hall).

 

The Stage area is at one end of the Large Hall, which is closed unless booked as an extra.

The kitchens have basic fridges & cookers which are only suitable for heating pre-prepared hot food. There are also instant hot water heaters in both kitchens.

 

 

At the Village Hall, we host many activities to suit all age groups and tastes: Baby Ballet, Hartbeeps, Tiny Talk & Bloom Baby in the week. On Saturday mornings Mini Athletics.

 

For adults, there is a thriving U3A group with Art & Choir. There is also Bridge, Keep Fit, Pilates. Scottish Dancing. Slimming World, Flower Club and Womens Institute.

 

The Village Hall is run by a voluntary management team.
